Pu-erh Tea as a Unique Ancient Plant Medicine
If you’ve ever had green tea, black tea, or oolong tea, you’ve had tea from the Camellia sinensis plant, which also produces pu-erh tea. Unlike teas we can typically find in the store, the tea Gerit serves is from 100 to 1600 year old trees, and has many benefits for the mind, body, and spirit without hijacking your nervous system or depleting your body’s energy. These old tree teas are not psychedelic, have little to no caffeine, and help create a meditative, journey-like experience, working with your system naturally to help you gently get unblocked and receive what you need. People in China have been sitting with tea for millennia as a way to journey inward, to help create potent spiritual experiences, generate clarity, and release what isn’t serving.
